In spite of the record breaking snowfall the previous evening, Vasant Panchami Puja was attend by at least 70 to 75 people all dressed in various shades of yellow to welcome Spring. The Satsang was sponsored by Rani Nautiyal and the Seth Family.
After a few minutes of meditation led by Bharati Bhakta, the significance of the Puja was read out by Sanjul Seth followed by bhajans sung by Vithal and Bharati Bhakta, Nisha and Divya Bawa, Arathi Cowlagi, Rani Nautiyal and Vibha Dhingra.
At the Annual general body meeting in January, The India Society of Worcester elected a new Executive Committee, Nominating Committee and members to the Board of Trustees and the Chair of the Governnace Committee.

Honorable Prabhu Dayal, Consulate General of India, New York, visited India Center to address ISW community on recent Indo-US relations and meet ISW community on March 12, 2012. ISW celebrated the India's Independence day with the customary enthusiasm and joy in August 2012 at the Italian American Center in Worcester .
The event featured booths from different business , some of the popular ones were like jewellery , Mehandi , clothes and delicious food from Bollywood Grill. They not only had full meals but served fresh chaat, Dosas , sweets , and fresh sugar cane juice which is rare delicacy.

That means there are 77,177 unique voices, 77,177 stories and 77,177 truly different struggles here in the state of Massachusetts. Although there are many of us that travelled from many different places in order to come to the United States, most of us came here for a better life.
