In our last seminar at Ayurveda - we discussed how this ancient science is still very relevant in today's world. A comment that the speaker Dr. Steve Belok, MD made stuck out at me. He said "Many of the therapies and treatments I learned in medical school many years ago are discouraged, some even illegal today. Yet much of the knowledge of Ayurveda  has survived the test of thousands of years.  Wisdom is timeless"

On April 24th, we will welcome eminent Vaidya Srinivas Rao for a talk on the basic aspects of Ayurveda.  He will discuss the major  'doshas'; diagnostic techniques  etc in ayurveda and answer any questions you might have. Think of this as Ayurveda 101 - the very basics of Ayurveda for anyone who has been interested, but didn't know where to start.  If you have ever wondered how a Vaidya can diagnose diseases by examining the patient's pulse with their hands -- this is the place to ask !
