ISW welcomed the Spring Season with its first ever, “Spring Dhamaka” event. The event was held on April 12th, 7:30 pm -10:30 pm at the India Center in Shrewsbury, MA and was open to general public. The evening was filled with foot-tapping, invigorating Bollywood Dandiya and Bhangra music by DJ Naushad Kapasi, and the venue was abuzz with many enthusiastic dancers on the floor
At an Annual Event of India Society of Worcester Dr. Kunwar Bechain , Dr. Suresh Awasthi and Mr. Deepak Gupta leading Haasya Kavis from India, all maestros of humor with impeccable timing and delivery entertained a packed hall at the India center for over three hours bringing home some very poignant thoughts mixed with humor.Ramnavmi 2013

ISW Celeberated MahaShivratri at India Center
On March 10 Satsang we celebrated Maha Shivratri. Mrs. Pushpa Joshi performed the initial puja for Shivratri and then the Abhishek was done by all who attended while Gopi Balakrishnan rendered a very soulful recitation of the Shri Shiva Rudram Namkam-Chamakam.

In spite of the record breaking snowfall the previous evening, Vasant Panchami Puja was attend by at least 70 to 75 people all dressed in various shades of yellow to welcome Spring. The Satsang was sponsored by Rani Nautiyal and the Seth Family.
After a few minutes of meditation led by Bharati Bhakta, the significance of the Puja was read out by Sanjul Seth followed by bhajans sung by Vithal and Bharati Bhakta, Nisha and Divya Bawa, Arathi Cowlagi, Rani Nautiyal and Vibha Dhingra.
ISW celebrated the India's Independence day with the customary enthusiasm and joy in August 2012 at the Italian American Center in Worcester .
