Events

The India Society of Worcester hosts a variety of Events on a yearly basis for all ages. From major yearly events like India Day and Diwali Functions to Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly Health Workshops, Cultural Programs and Seminars.

Showcase India

"Bade mian to bade mian, Chote mian subhanalla!" goes the old bollywood cliche. 
Check out what our young members can do as the India Youth Group puts on their annual gala event.

April 10th

 Meet and Greet

 Join the Party, Join the Fun. Meet young, interesting people and enjoy a night of music, karoke, dance and all the fun.

ISW Annual Picnic

Annual ISW Picnic.

  • Potluck lunch - This year's theme was "Street food"
  • Games for adults and kids.
    You can come and play with us or just sit on your blanket and just CHILL....It's your choice. The park has Basket ball court, Volley ball court. a nice walking trail and we bring stuff to play Musical Chair, Pittoo and Cricket.
  • You can bring your own ideas and teach us a new game. We are totally up for it.

Annual India Day Festival

ISW's gala event for the year ! They Mayor Worcester declared this day the Indian Heritage day.

The Celebration will start with Puja followed by Bhajans, Aarti and Prasad.

 Saraswati Puja by ISW Cultural School children.

We will also be collecting NEW childrens books during the puja. These books will be donated to a local shelter.
