ISW 2020 : After 50 years, what's next?
50 years are over , what next?
Fifty years ago a small group of Indians started the India Society of Worcester based on the desire to get together as a community. With the growing community in Metro West area, we would like to reach out to folks like you to see what else we can do to strengthen/support the community. As part of our strategic planning process we would like to invite you to join us for chai and snacks on May 18th (2-4 pm) and provide us input to shape future services that we can provide to the Indian community. We hope you can join us as we start to define and plan the future of the Society for the next 5-10 years. ISW currently offers activities and events to all segments of the Indian community and the community at large. For the young children we have a cultural and language school which teaches 6 Indian languages, for the Youth we have India Youth Group, and for our senior citizens we have Humrahi. We also organize India Day, Diwali and other events throughout the year. But there are many others events we can organize so that all ages consider INDIA CENTER as their own.We hope to gather the views of all the people who attend. After the meeting we will review the feasibility of opinions and ideas presented and then reconvene in a few weeks after that.May we count on you to provide us input in this new initiative?
