Scholarship Awards 2006
ISW Scholarships for 2006
For the eighth year in a row as Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee, I am proud to present the ISW scholarship awards and recognize the youths of our community. Once again we received an overwhelming interest in our program as indicated by a record number of applications this year.
Firstly, I would like to thank the students who spent their time and effort to apply for the scholarship. Secondly, I would like to thank the judges who volunteered their time to evaluate the applications. All the applications were thoroughly evaluated by three judges. Since all the candidates are highly accomplished and meritorious in academics plus extra-curricular activities, the judge’s task was incredibly challenging. We can be very proud of our children.
The judges for this year are:
- Mr. Hersh Verma
- Mr. Arun Basil
- Mr. Prabhakar Jain
Lastly, I would like to thank the sponsors who have fostered this program. ISW established this program as a forum for interested persons to institute scholarships in their name by sponsoring one or more awards. I am very happy to announce that the enthusiastic and gracious support extended by various sponsors has enabled ISW to extend the scholarships to 2nd rank holders also.
On behalf of ISW and the scholarship committee, I would like to extend hearty congratulations to all the winners and I wish them success in their life.
The senior school first position winner receives an award of $400. The rest of the winners receive an award of $200 each.
Shri B. Garg, Chairperson,
