Shiv Yog Meditation at India Center

'Shiv' means infinite and 'Yog' means union. Shiv Yog means the union with the infinite.
“Look within yourself, Meditate on yourself, Because your God lives within You as You” - Siddhaguru Baba Nityanandji
“Meditation is rediscovering yourself. The world is full of so many impurities, like impurities of thought and pollution of mind. Meditation allows you to retrospect yourself and then purify the polluted or affected part in you. In essence, Meditation is seeking to explore your inner self, while being in constant communion with the positive energy that is God. You leave your physical being and analyze yourself from outside.” - Avdhoot Baba Shivanandji
'Shiv Yog' meditation uses techniques taught by Avdhoot Baba Shivanadji. This meditation method opens up your heart and your mind along with your body to receive the divine healing energy that is all around us. The meditation session starts with chanting, sukshma kriyas (subtle yoga), basic pranayams (breathing exercises), and body relaxation followed by meditation leading you to a feeling of inner peace and happiness.
Some simple reasons to meditate:
- To increase positive outlook towards life, events and people
- To have mental clarity and a sense of purpose in life
- To reduce stress, sleep better and increase energy level
- To give body and mind a chance to heal itself
- To feel the presence of God and his love in your life
