Language and Cultural School Annual Day ..........................Shiamin Melville
Annual Day for ISW School was held at Broadmeadow Brook Sanctuary, Mass Audubon Society, Worcester.
This year instead of a class skit or item presented by each class in an allotted time slot, we had a picnic, so that the parents of all the classes from Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi & Gujarati could meet each other and their teachers & staff of the school.
School Certificates were handed out by each class teacher, and the attendance prizes for each class was awarded with a gift certificate to Target. There was a potluck picnic under the big pavilion, with all the parents pitching in, and it was followed by a scavenger hunt for different birds and plants in the grounds of the sanctuary.
