On Saturday November 5, 2016 ISW collaborated with the Worcester Art Museum for its first ever Diwali festival at the Renaissance Court of the museum. The day long event was had exceptional participation from a broad and varied regional audience.
Based on the information provided by the museum 1,520 guests spent most of the day enjoying this festive Community Day. Interrelated events were held throughout the museum galleries and studios focusing on Diwali, and music and dance performances by over 100 performers were enjoyed by all in a packed Renaissance Court. This day at the museum also highlighted the closing of Knights with special arms and armor related activities and was the highest fall community day in the last 16 years.
