IYG Celebrates Holi - 2016

IYG Celebrates Holi with Humrahi 2016 ---------------------------------------- Sahil Vyas

This past Sunday, IYG held one of their favorite events of the year: Holi with Humrahi. We started off the afternoon by welcoming the senior citizens into the ISW hall by applying a small amount of color onto their faces. The senior citizens, then, enjoyed a short meal prepared by all of the lovely parents of IYG members. Food choices ranged from khaman dhokla, manchurian, and even all the way to Kheer in a Cup! Following the quick meal, 5-6 senior citizens and 5-6 IYG members came together at each table to engage in conversations or to play games such as Scrabble and UNO. Next, the senior citizens were entertained with a dance performance by IYG's two co-secretaries: Divya Bawa & Pooja Hingorany.
