Our New Website is here ! 

On October 11th, 2009 - the ISW Web Committee debuted a fresh new look to the website at . The new site utilizes a state of the art content management backbone and will now allow multiple web committee members to update the site together.

 In addition to the new technology backbone - the website features an updated look and feel  which will help visitors find the content faster.

 New on the site:

  • Upcoming events main component on home page with 4 upcoming events highlighted
  • Simplified, intuitive navigation throughout the site
  • Interactive Google Map inserts for  directions to events
  • New RSVP form that is easy to use
  • New Photo Gallery viewer

India Society of Worcester Launches Free ISW Monthly Seminar Series at India Center

Community focused panels and discussions will be open to all

Worcester, MA – July 11, 2007 – India Society of Worcester (ISW),  one of New England’s most vibrant Indian Association today announced the launch of a new monthly seminar series that will provide current, community focused information on topics vital to families in the Central Massachusetts area. Initially the ISW Seminar Series will organize panels and discussions in four major tracks consisting of Finance, Health, Society & Culture and Family related issues.

“My long standing relationship with the India Society of Worcester has allowed me to witness first hand the valuable cultural and charitable work that this organization does” said Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray. “These new forums will build upon this tradition of success by providing individuals with an opportunity to live up to the highest ideals of citizenry, by becoming engaged in topics of utmost importance to the residents of Central Massachusetts region.”

ISW’s newsletter re-launched as eSandesh magazine

ISW is reviving old Sandesh newsletter in electronic form – eSandesh. The newsletter, to be published twice a month and emailed to those who have currently signed up for the email newsletter, will have several new sections.
