Do you help take care of a family member, neighbor or friend ?
The Equity in Caregiving project is looking for a diverse group of community members to share their experiences and insights as a family caregiver (any family, relative, partner, friend, or neighbor with significant personal relationships) for a person living with a chronic and/or serious illness.
We want to understand real-world caregiver experiences that affect your ability to support your ability to support your family member with a serious or chronic illness. These insights will inform the development of policies to improve caregiver support and resources.
Participation would include a short survey and interview that could last for up to 1 hour. Expert facilitators will create a safe, confidential space for participants to share their unique experiences.
We are looking for individuals from your community who are
- are at least 18 years old
- have experience as a caregiver for an adult with a serious illness
- Whose primary residence is in Massachusetts
- Whose primary language is English or Spanish
If you are interested, please fill out this survey and someone from our team will reach out to you: https://arcsapps.umassmed.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=JTMMR7PKNX
