The India Society of Worcester provides the needed health care for the under-served and uninsured in our community for FREE every Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm at the ISW India Center. It was started in 2005 under the guidance of Dr. Sahdev Passey and has been providing care for over 15 years.

The Free health stop is made possible by generous support from the Indian Medical Association of New England and the Goyal Family Foundation. 

The free Health Stop is staffed by volunteer physicians, social workers, dieticians, and members of the India Society of Worcester. Every week it provides care for non-emergency medical problems, shares information on health issues, and addresses different issues related to diet. Services are provided to anyone regardless of their financial, immigration or insurance status and are not limited to the Indian community.

Note: The free Health Stop will be open every Wednesday except when the Worcester Public Schools are closed because of a snow day. It will also be closed on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Patient materials:  Patients can access easy to read materials for some common conditions here.  Materials are available in both English and Spanish.
