Dr. Jagan Srinivasan

Jagan has been a Shrewsbury Resident for the past decade. He has been a ISW volunteer for the same amount of time. He lives in SHrewsbury with his wife Snehalata Kadam and 3 kids (Dhruv, Arush, Uruvi). He works at WPi as an Associate professor of Biology and is the Director of the Neuroscience Program.

Balki Chandrakasan has been a ISW volunteer for the last 18+ years . He currently lives in North Grafton  with his wife Kavitha and their children Keerthana &  Siddharth. Balki works at Charles River Labs and in his free time he is actively involved in many volunteer program including ISW

 I have been associated with the ISW family for the last 11 years. I have 3 amazing girls in my household which includes my wife and 2 daughters (13 year old and 7 year old). Currently, i am working a Director of Technology at Vistaprint (a manufacturer of promotional and marketing products). I enjoy keeping myself busy and engaged all the time

Professionally I have been working with one of the largest health care companies in the country for the last few years. Prior to that I worked for one of the largest financial institutions of the country for several years. Outside of my professional life I am actively engaged with 

multiple social, cultural and community organizations for many years in and around Boston. I live in Millbury, MA with my wife for the last twenty plus years.

Sakshi has been a Shrewsbury Resident for the past decade.She has been an ISW volunteer for the same amount of time.She was volunteering with Sarita for Religious and Cultural activities. She has helped operations, Dhol Tasha  & Symphony activities as a serving Member at Large for the past 2 years. She lives in Shrewsbury with her husband Sanket Gurao and daughter Swara. Accounting is her profession.

Geena Introduction

Im Geetanjali Virmani  a Realtor by profession, a dancer by passion, and an active community member. I have been In New England for 23 years and I live in Shrewsbury with her husband Ashwani and 2 teenage boys Aarya and Maury and her dad.. I have been serving as the Town Meeting Member with Town of Shrewsbury. I have been an active member with ISW cultural committee at India Society of Worcester. She is an avid dancer with many titles won at various Dance competitions. Her community work has been recognized and been applauded by many organizations in New England. I look toward  making the most of the time serving a needy. Her saying is 'Give back with smile and kindness as giving back can bring Happiness to many”

Mrs. Ruchi Chauhan

Ruchi Chauhan and her husband Ramendra have lived in Shrewsbury, MA from the last 12 + years with their 2 sons, Yashvardhan, who is currently in his 3rd year at Northeastern University and Kunal, who is currently a sophomore at Shrewsbury High. She and her family have been longtime volunteers, members and supporters of ISW. She has been working with Shrewsbury Public School for the past 8+ years and is very passionate about working with kids. This same love of working with kids and giving back to the community is what inspired her to be part of the ISW.

Chella Introduction

Chella Palaniappan, and his wife Ahila Manoharan have been living in Shrewsbury for the last 15 years with their children Damini and Danush .   Chella works for Trigent Software in Southborough.   Chella has been associated with ISW language school and the India Center rentals.  Chella coached youth soccer for the Shrewsbury Youth Soccer teams for several years when his children were young.   He regularly volunteers at St. John’s Food for the Poor in  Worcester, MA.

Abhijeet Nikte, his wife Shilpa Kulkarni and kids Trishna and Saket have been associated with ISW for 14 years, ever since they moved to Shrewsbury. Abhijeet and Shilpa have taken part in a lot of cultural activities in ISW, sometimes as participants and sometimes as organizers. Abhijeet is also the Chair for the Sports Committee. Abhijeet works full time at Hanover Insurance in Worcester

Kamlesh Khilnani

Kamlesh Khilnani along with his wife, Preeti Khilnani and two boys, Arnav and Jeet, have been ISW members for close to a decade now. Our association with ISW began with the language school and has only grown from there. We love how ISW binds the people from various communities and brings them together under one roof. We live in Marlborough, MA and originally hail from Mumbai.

Smita lives in Holden along with her husband, Yatin and 2 kids, Tanvi & Pranav.  The family has been part of the ISW organization for the last 15 years or so. In addition to volunteering and participating in various ISW events, Smita has been an active committee member of the ISW Cultural Team for several years.  She also volunteers for Trinity Hospice Care in Worcester. 

Smita is a full time employee at Raytheon located in Marlboro.

Rajesh Khare

Rajesh and his family have been active ISW members and volunteers for many years. In the past, Rajesh has helped organize many activities like the ISW float in local town parades, India Center cleanup events, annual hikes to Mt Wachusett and the Dhol-Tasha-Lezim group. He has served as the ISW Treasurer for the 2 recent terms

My name is Anupama Deb Roy. I have been a resident of Shrewsbury for the past 10 years. I live here with my husband and two kids. My elder daughter is a senior in high school and my younger daughter is in 4th grade. By profession, I am a Family child care provider and I have been running my day care in Shrewsbury for the past 8 years. I have been associated with ISW from 2014 as a Hindi language teacher and have been volunteering since then. In 2021 me and my elder daughter organized an art competition through ISW and raised money towards ISW

Ragoo Introduction

Ragoo, a resident of Shrewsbury for 16 yrs is a Life Member of ISW and has served on the executive board of ISW for many years. He currently co-chairs the Professional and Entrepreneurial Network initiative at ISW. His wife and 2 daughters have also been part of ISW for the past 10-15 yrs. Ragoo has a PhD in Neuroscience and currently is a Business Development executive for a Swiss based biotech company. He also is on the Board of Trustees of the Shrewsbury Public Library Foundation and STEMPeers, a non-profit networking organization with over 20,000 members - where he coaches and mentors STEM students into various career paths. He is a prolific networker and connector among professionals.
