| Language CurriculumWe had standardized the curriculum and replaced copies with real textbooks from India for all the Hindi, Gujarati & Marathi students. Hindi Text books are from Hindi USA, and in 2013 Tamil joined the American Tamil Academy (ATA and uses its online curriculum, Telugu downloads eBooks in Telugu and Gujarati classes are using textbooks from Ahmedabad. The ISW Hindi Curriculum is also available at ISWOnline.org for its members. The assemblies about ICONS of India were presented by the kids. The students also receive instruction in Yoga, Indian History, Music and Religion. We have split Sunday sessions into two, with a common time for yoga & cultural assembly in between Session 1 & 2 We also celebrate special Assemblies including Diwali, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Ganpati, Xmas story, Indology Jeopardy. |
