TASK 


To be able to speak, read, write and understand Gujarati Alphabets Letters, in order as

well as individually. They must speak clearly using the correct sounds. They must say it together as well an individually. 


They be able to Speak, Read, Write and understand numbers from 1 to 20.

They be able to learn vegetables, fruits name and all colours in Guajarati. 

They be able to write their name in Guajarati.


Written practice for letters and words can be followed as in book.

The worksheets for letters, pictures can be prepared to teach.


Teachers can breakdown the syllabus term wise according to the ability & co-operation of students and divide them into groups.


At all-time Gujarati and English must be spoken in the class.













Year 2 : - Pravesh

Task: - 


To be able to speak, read, write and understand all Gujarati alphabets from the beginning to

and in order. They must speak clearly using the correct sounds. They must say it together as well as individually. They should be able to use barakhadi to write and read two, three or more letter simple words -by pictures as well as words and know the meaning in English. They should be able to speak, read, write and understand all the vowels. They should be able to make small simple three to

four words sentences. 


They must be able to Speak, Read, and understand numbers from 1 to 50.

They be able to Speak and understand all seven Days and time of the day.


The class can be distributed into groups by the ability and the age of the students.

Teachers can breakdown the syllabus term wise according to the ability & co-operation of

Students and divide them into groups.


At all time Gujarati and English must be spoken in the class. 



Year 3: Parichay


Syllabus: - Speak well English – (Gujarati) (G 0503)

Task: -

They should be able to translate simple sentences English - Gujarati -English. They should have knowledge of simple grammar, such as gender, noun, pronoun etc. 


At all time Gujarati and English must be spoken in the class 



Year 4: Vikaas  


Syllabus: - 1 Speak well English – (Gujarati) (G 0503)

They should be able to make sentences. They should be able to translate sentences and paragraphs into English to Gujarati to English. They should have knowledge of simple grammar, such as all three Tenses etc. They should read fluently. They should be able to speak small stories. They must be able to Speak, Read, Write & understand numbers from 1 to 100, 1000 and1 to 100 in words. . Students should be able to read and write joined-up letters. 


It is important to concentrate on correct pronunciation when reading takes place & the

correct basic way of writing should be followed.


The class can be distributed into groups by the ability of the students.


At all time Gujarati and English must be spoken in the class 



Year 5: - PRE GCSE Level

                      (Concentrate on Relevancy)

They should know the Gujarati calendar months.


The class can be distributed into groups by the ability of the students.


At all-time Gujarati and English must be spoken in the class 



Year 6: - GCSE Level
