  ISW Professional and Entrepreneurial Network is a forum based in MetroWest Boston for likeminded professionals and entrepreneurs to network, exchange ideas and learn from other's experience. The ISW India Center, at 152 Main St Shrewsbury, serves as a hub for a variety of activities and programs that encourage professional growth and entrepreneurial activities. Some of the activities include:

  Monthly meetings  consisting of panel discussions, seminars and workshops

  Mentorship Programs to help members professionally and entrepreneurially

  Helping members understand small business ownership and franchise opportunities

  The idea is to have a highly interactive session on communication for professional growth, followed by time to network and connect.

  Some of the communication topics we could explore together include:

  • ⁠ ⁠Speaking up with confidence in meetings
  • ⁠ ⁠Being heard (without being labeled “too aggressive” or “too quiet”)
  • ⁠ ⁠Advocating for yourself — promotions, visibility, opportunities
  • ⁠ ⁠Navigating difficult conversations with managers, customers or peers,
  • ⁠ ⁠Executive presence and clear, concise messaging
  • ⁠ ⁠Setting boundaries and saying no professionally
  • ⁠ ⁠Handling feedback and pushback with confidence

  Humrahee will meet on the 4th Saturday of each month at the ISW India Center from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. 

  Humrahee members will engage in multiple activities including board and card games, carrom, chess, yoga and meditation. Snacks, tea, coffee and water will be served. Do come with your family members and let your friends know about this gathering. For information contact humrahee@iswonline.org
